This is a bit late post for Christmas but hope you all had an wonderful Christmas! This is definately my favorite time of the year. So many things happend. Had some stupid mistakes (too shame to say what it is!!) and had some great moments and time.!

And I also took some photos of my baby girl. It was mostly like hide-and-seek, because she goes craaaaaazy when she sees me with my camera, but still I just love playing with her like this.

Tokyo Family Photographer | Baby Steps

I am sure I said this before but here it is again. I feel like I just get to meet the nicest people through my job..!

This family actually contacted me last year when I was pregnant. They wanted a newborn session for this handsome boy but I was about to be on maternity leave, so unfortunately it couldn't happen.. And how much I am grateful that she remembers me and kept me in her mind even after one year. This time she contacted me for their family photo. This time this boy still might be a baby but he could do many things, one thing he absolutely loves is walking and walking!!

There was no special location for this shoot. We started at their lovely home and then just went outside and walked around the street.

This one just makes me smile. Who knew walking can be this joyful?! I had hard time chasing him around..haha

He was stopped by his daddy like 20 times, but he just kept walking and walking!

Tokyo Baby Photographer | Birthday Trip | Yamanakako

Can't believe my baby girl is one year old now..How much I long for this day..and how fast it came!
We had a little family get together party and next day we hit the road for a birthday trip!
The location: Yamanakako, It's the lake near Fuji mountain.
We had so much fun on the road (Gosh, I love those Service Areas in Japan! They have starbucks and the best kids play room I've ever been!!) and it was already dark by the time we arrived at the lake.

And next morning, taking a walk(?) in hotel backyard..

Our main destination on this day was flower park (Hananomiyako) I wanted to take some photos with flowers and my baby. But silly me, what I didn't think was it's already November! Yeah right, there were no flowers in the field, I mean, at all!!!!!!! They were all covered by soil and it just had small dome which has some plants and flowers in it, and I was quite bummed.. But we tried to make the best out of it taking Japanese sticker photos which make your eyes look 3 times bigger and singing the song.

My baby loves when I sing 3 bears in one house. hehe (My husband took this photo, quite impressive although he focused on her tongue..lol)

And then we got a bit tired and hungry so we headed to the back door to get back to car. And holy...There was this huge garden filled with fall trees which shows amazing fall colors. I even didn't expect to see the leaves already changed like that. But it was beautiful, and at the right moment, we got a beautiful light.
My baby got into meaner mode by that time and she was laughing pulling daddy's face (really hard) but I am so happy to be able to get these few lovely shots..

Ahhh..babies...Just by watching them, they can melt your heart.
After our maternity session a few weeks ago, I've been so waiting to meet her.

Tokyo Yokohama Baby Photographer | 300 days

So my baby's 1st birthday is only less than a month to go..I just cannot believe how time flies. When she was a newborn, I couldn't wait till she grows up, so we can talk and I cam figure out what is so sad that makes her cry..haha..But now I miss those day and even when I am enjoying her so much right now I already miss every second passing by..now I know I will miss these days crazily soon.

So back to the point, I am trying to give a proper photo shoot once in a while for my little baby girl. So here are some her 300 days photos. I am so amzed every day how she grows up and learns new tricks by over night. My 11 month old baby loves her milk, daddy, mommy bringing her milk, bath time with mommy, crawling fast, re-arranging furniture, peekaboo (by herself!), dancing to music, pringles can, wet tissue, and diaper..:-)

She ran away from tidy photo spot and went into messy living room, this is why we need to clean up the space before the shoot!

She just couldn't keep that hair band on her head more than 2 seconds..

While we were having our little photo shoot, daddy showed up in backyard. He is busy cleaning the windows! Which gives a good excuse to run away from the shoot.

Tokyo Yokohama Maternity Photographer | Just Near..

Doing maternity session is always exciting for me too. Before I was pregnant, I always wondered what it feels like having another heart beating inside of you, and now I know how that feels..(hard to breathe..but amazing :-)) I had so much fun with this couple. They contacted me around her 37 weeks but luckily they were only 30 minutes away from my home. So I just jumped to train and went to meet them, and what a sweet couple..we just had so much fun giggling all the time (not because soon to be daddy was too nervous! ;-))

Okay..below looks somewhat like engagement session..haha..but I am sure baby will love this later :-)

I have been waiting to meet this family since this Spring..! well...there was an earthquake, schedule problem, and then typhoon..I almost thought maybe mother nature is stopping us..haha..but thankfully the weather turned out just fine and we had a great session in Kamakura. I don't have to explain how cute they are when I have a bunch of perfect photos to prove..so here it goes..

Tokyo Yokohama Baby Photographer | Baby and Guam

This was our 2nd family vacation to Guam. First one was when my baby was a pear sized in my belly :-) and this time as a something called a baby :-) We stayed 7 days there, all we wanted to do was just eating and relaxing on a beach but with a VERY-SUPER-DUPER active 9 month old baby, it was just a dream. My best memory is taking a 2 hour(!) nap with my baby on a king bed..haha..It rarely happens at home..Okay I am gonna post lots of photos now, so be ready!

First, taking a walk along the beach just in front of hotel.. I love how sky and the sea looks almost same..

We stayed at Westin, and here is the view of Nikko hotel which we stayed last year.
Our baby obviously doesn't know about 1 hour time difference and just woke us up before 6 so when we went out to beach, there was NOBODY! Looks so peaceful..

And now you fell in sleep? Hmmm....

after a short morning nap, just playing on a beach chair.

I still try to remember what it was like when I was pregnant. The excitement, the waiting. Nothing can compare. We all feel we are heavy and bloating when we are pregnant, but it is no lie that they say they look so beautiful when they are pregnant. You will see what I mean when you see these photos :-)
Her skin is glowing, gorgeous body figure, the smile shows the happiest and the most exciting time. Definately this moment needs to be captured.!

Took a few shots while mommy is changing her outfit. Ahh...these just makes me want to have more kids..!! haha..The big sister was soooo good at taking care of her little sister! How perfect :-)

And a few outdoor shots, the sun was so strong but it also created beautiful light on these beautiful ladies.

200 days+ | Yokohama Baby Photographer

Can the day get any hotter?! Started the day at 6 am as usual (obviously baby doesn't know about the weekend and woke us up right on time!) lots of crawling, lots of following, lots of laughing and lots of sweating. Everyone just fell in sleep at 8:30 pm. I just charged my battery a little bit and just edited one photo from today. And realized that I really need to put some photos on my blog!
Well..here is my piggy bear at 7 months now! I got so many dresses when I was still in early stage of pregnancy, as soon as doc told me that it looks like a GIRL! She is growing so fast and now she is wearing 12 month sized clothes, so I sensed that she might not be able to try all the dresses I got for her! So just a quick 5 minute photo shoot on sunny morning today.

Saw daddy and crawling as fast as she can. just perfect.

So last weekend, I ditched my mommy duty for a few hours and spent the afternoon with this love birds. How easy to photograph people who are soooooo in love, you can just feel it from their face, no need to do anything! And after meeting them, I could see it's impossible for them to not to love each other, they were just soooo sweet. And they also brought some sweets to share, see? I just get to like them in seconds! God knows how much sugar I need these days!

Feeling kinda weird to put this angelic and peaceful photo of my baby after I and my husband just had 3 hour battle to put her into sleep..! Anyway she just had her 100th day and we had a small party today. She had her first snow and she flipped twice today when we put her down on her belly. She must be too excited and didn't want to say good night..but baby..you never can win daddy's rocking. :-)

And a quick schedule update! We are now booking sessions from April to June. Yes, my maternity leave is officially over and I will be doing a few shoots in Feb and March as well for who bribed me with their sweetest words :-) Cannot wait..!

A bit late to say but..Happy Happy Happy New Year..!
I cannot think better photos to put as my first blog post in new year
Here is my baby after waking up with cool hair style..:-)

These photos are actually from last year..but I will regret forever if I don't post them..:-)
She is 2 months old now and she is smiling A LOT lately.
The first time that I saw her smile was in hospital during nursing on 2nd day, I just cannot describe that feeling..and although I only had less than 2 hours to sleep till next feeding, I was too excited to fall asleep.
I am sure every mommys and daddys who are reading this certainly knows that feeling :-) And still every time when she smiles..ahhhhhhhhhhhh

I made this mobile during my pregnancy and she smiles and laugh watching this panda bear..I made other animals attached to this mobile but they don't get that kind of attention like this panda bear does..Sometimes she acts like shy little girl who is in love..haha..baby relax..you still have so much time..
It is really interesting to see..I always had this huge crush on panda bear too.
I called my baby as baby panda bear during my pregnancy and still now (as you also can see in some of the photos, I cannot pass if I see the clothes which has panda on it..!) and when I was around 3 weeks pregnant (yes, before I was even aware of it!) me and my husband went to road trip to Adventure World in Wakayama (http://aws-s.com/english-new/) to see giant panda bears..! No wonder she is so in love with this big black sleepy eyed creature..

Only downside is she becomes widely awake in the middle of night once she lays her eyes on this mobile..which means no more sleeps for me...! lol

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas holiday! For me I think I had the best one since my husband decided to feed the baby 2 times in a row and I could have a 4 hour of uninterrupted sleep..! Christmas miracle..! haha

Sooo here I am trying to update my blog before this year passes..! I just wanted to post this photo, so later when my baby grows up and hates daddy for some reasons like he gave her a curfew or banned her from seeing a certain boy, she can see this showing how much she loves her daddy :-) Frankly I am a bit jealous since I had to dance in front of her for like 20 mins to get a glimpse of that smile..!

"hey, play with me" "no..?! how 'bout I wink at you?" "you cannot resist this smile, can't you?"

We also made a visit to Kamakura shrine last week just before she turns to 50 days old. Apparently there is a tradition that they do for a newborn baby in Japan. So thanks to grandpa and grandma, here are a few shots of them!

I really need to take more photos of my baby..! I cannot believe how my days can just fly by doing only changing nappies, feeding, rocking her and singing lullaby 100 times..! But luckily the last few weeks we had some warm afternoons so we brought baby outside for a picnic..! I went this park just a day before I went into labor and well it felt freaking good to come again and have a picnic with her looking all those fall leaves...Here are my two favorite bears..

Finally I got time to update my blog! Thank you all for those kind messages during my leave. Yes, baby L finally came out to the world and it already has been one month!
Being a mommy is much tougher than I ever imagined..but she amazes me everyday..and melts my heart with her little smile..

Here she is at her 13th day..

And when she became one month old.
She was crying and crying just before I took these photos. I just couldn't figure out why, I finally confronted her (well..with tears, I might add..) and it was like she was understanding what I was saying and she stopped crying! This didn't work out later anymore but I wanted to remember this moment forever :-)

Sneak peeks for family "W"..! I LOVE when my clients are well prepared - that is especially when they bring those cutest outfits and accessories..!! This 11-month-old girl looking soooo cute with her cute outfits and hairpins..she was so curious about everything and she approches to my camera just like 1 cm away..! Sweet 10 years | Yokohama Couple Photographer

Guess what? This couple came all the way from Indonesia and they are celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary!! They are so nice people and we could chat about many things on the way back. And like most of the guys, he was a bit nervous in front of camera, but after bit of consultation (?), I just couldn't stop saying "beautiful!"

I cannot tell you how much fun I had with these kids..and yet they were again the most active kids I have ever met..! They were still running around even after the shoot..! I wish I have that much energy..haha. We finally got pleasant weather on Saturday afternoon, and made a trip to Meiji Shrine. And here are some sneak peeks from the shoot on that day, if you went to Meijji Shrine on that day and saw the group of people were surrounding and keep saying "gawaii, gawaii" "cho gawaii" well..in centre it was them. They were soooo popular on that day, but who can blame, they are such cute pies..!!

5 minutes before, she said "I don't want my pictures taken.." and then she came in front of my camera, and gave me this smile..aaahhhhhhh

Me and my husband is still in holiday spirit, our Christmas tree is still in the room and we already forgot about our new year's resolutions..lol. Okay, I will admit I am a bad photographer, during 2 weeks of stay on Oahu, I only brought my camera outside like 3 times..We were just so into eating and playing in the water..so with this amazing scenery, we were just like wow look at that and go on with what shall we have for dinner..haha..But anyway I am so glad we made a trip to north shore which we missed on our last visit. And luckily I brought my camera, yay! So I wanted to share some nice sunset we had on north shore, we were going to go down to Sunset beach but the sun was coming down really quickly so we had to stop between Pupukea beach and Sunset beach, and oh my.. the beach was breathtaking..the waves were huge..If you are visitng Oahu, you HAVE TO include north shore on your itinerary!

Ookay, so I will be posting my sneak peeks here from my recent sessions and here is the first one! I got so many great shots so it was hard to decide which ones to post.. Anyway here they are!

Meet the baby J, here. He has these AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL blue eyes..seriously it's like there is another universe in there!

And see these beautiful girls! We were having a bit of though time at first but after the girls enjoy some sweets, they could give me these BEAUTIFUL smiles and we ended up having a great time! I have to say, those candy bribe was totally worth it!
